Is WatchMatch a streaming service?
No. WatchMatch helps you discover movies and TV series and keep a personal watchlist. It does not play movies or shows, provide streaming subscriptions, or guarantee that a title is available in your region.
What do Like, Pass and Not sure mean?
Like means you’re interested in watching. Pass means you’re not interested. Not sure lets you defer a title without teaching the app that you like or dislike it. In the iPhone app, Not sure lasts for the current app session. Undo reverses the most recent swipe.
How do personal ratings work?
After watching a movie or show, mark it as watched and choose a score from 1 to 10. Your watched score is separate from whether you originally liked the card. Scores are kept in your library; swipe cards do not display ratings.
Does the website remember my swipes?
No. This short preview keeps reactions only in the current page’s memory. Reloading resets the preview. It uses a small selection of titles and does not run the iPhone app’s personalized recommendation model.
Where does the iPhone app save my library?
Your watchlist, reactions, watched history and personal scores are stored on your device. There is no WatchMatch account or cloud library sync in this version. Device backups may include app data, depending on your settings.
Why is a poster or title missing?
Catalog information and posters come from TMDB. Some titles have incomplete metadata, and the catalog needs an internet connection. Check your connection, then retry. Your saved library remains separate from the catalog.
How can I remove my saved data?
In the iPhone app, remove individual entries from Library. Deleting the app removes its local app data. Restoring a device backup may restore that data. There is no WatchMatch account to delete. The website preview resets when you reload it.
